Certificate in Biblical Studies

This course is an introduction to the basic doctrines of the Christian faith. It is ideal for the young or new Christian who wants to understand the Bible and know why they believe what they believe.

Programme Duration – 2 years.

Diploma in Ministerial Studies

The Diploma programme is designed for those who need training in Christian ministry but cannot avail themselves to full-time studies. Christian doctrines are covered as well as ministry topics such as leadership, effective pastoral ministry, evangelism and world missions.

Programme Duration – 3 years.

Bachelors in Theology with ODL

The intending minister who cannot undertake a full-time degree programme would benefit greatly from the part-time Bachelors degree. This involves one evening a week (usually Mondays) plus supplementary distance learning material. Subjects include NT Greek, Pastoral Ministry, Pastoral Counselling, Homiletics, World Missions, Systematic Theology, and more.

Programme Duration – 4 years.

Certificate in Christian Counselling, Level 1

The Certificate in Counselling (first year) provide an extensive overview of what is required by the Christian Counsellor in terms of skills and basic theories. It will enable the learner to acquire some of the basic skills, and an understanding of counselling techniques and responsibilities. The course is designed for anyone who has a heart for other people and is seriously interested in professional counselling.

Those who wish to get involved in caring and counselling, or those already involved will find it particularly useful. This may well include Church Ministers, Pastors, Church Leaders, Youth Workers, Children’s Ministers, Social Workers and Nurses. In truth, the course is useful for anyone having to relate to others on a daily basis in their work environment.

Part-time students need only attend Counselling Seminars which are held on one or two Saturdays a month as scheduled. There will also be one weekend residential at a centre outside of London during the academic year.

Certificate in Christian Counselling, Level 2

This level of the course (second year) builds on what was learnt at Level 1 in terms of further skills and theories. It will also introduce students to many of the major issues that are likely to be met in the counselling environment and give students the necessary tools for helping such people.

Part-time students need only attend Counselling Seminars which are held on one or two Saturdays a month as scheduled. There will also be one weekend residential at a centre outside of London during the academic year.

Diploma in Christian Counselling

Building on previous training, the Diploma course (third year) offers an exciting and integrated educational process, with a range of modules which are at the cutting edge of the modern counselling profession. Students are expected to already be actively involved in client work and supervision, as this is a prerequisite to admission.

Part-time students need only attend Counselling Seminars which are held on one or two Saturdays a month as scheduled. There will also be one weekend residential at a centre outside of London during the academic year.

Certificate in Worship & Christian Music

Those who do not successfully meet the requirements of the Diploma in Worship & Christian Music at the end of their two-year programme may be awarded the Certificate instead. Note however that those who only complete one year of the Diploma will not receive any award.

Diploma in Worship & Christian Music

The Christian Music School will only admit serious and dedicated students of Music and Worship onto the course. We offer a two-year Diploma in Christian Music, which incorporates Worship Studies. Worship Principles and Music Theory are taught in addition to the Practical Worship and Music Workshops on Saturdays fortnightly from 9.00am to 3.00pm.


Distance Learning

Certificate in Biblical Studies

This Home Study Correspondence course is only for those who live too far away from our College to attend a course on site. It is an introduction to the basic doctrines of the Christian faith. It is ideal for the young or new Christian who wants to understand the Bible and know why they believe what they believe. There are 16 modules which should be completed within two years.

Programme Duration – 2 years.

Diploma in Ministerial Studies

The Diploma programme is designed for those who need training in Christian ministry but live too far away from our College to attend a course on site. Christian doctrines are covered as well as ministry topics such as leadership, effective pastoral ministry, evangelism and world missions. There are 24 modules which should be completed within three years.

Programme Duration – 3 years.
