Faculty

We have a core of quality teachers with a wealthy background of experience in ministry and Christian education. Our lecturers are qualified both academically and experientially as ministers, pastors, teachers, missionaries, evangelists or counsellors. This choice selection of our faculty comes from many different Christian and church traditions, including AOG Pentecostal, Elim Pentecostal, Independent, Charismatic, Anglican, Baptist, United Reformed, Presbyterian, Salvation Army, Methodist, Redeemed (RCCG) and others.

Principal

Dr Femi Olowo

Rev Femi Olowo, Cert.Couns.; C&G Cert in FE Teaching 7407; LLB (Part 1 finals), University of London; M.A., Sheffield University; DMin (cand.), University of Wales, Bangor. Lecturer in Counselling and Theology (General Overseer, Jubilee International Churches).

Having studied law at the University of London, Rev Olowo went on to study counselling and as well theology in various institutions. He is currently completing a Doctor of Ministry programme. He is a trained, qualified, professional Counsellor with membership of the Association of Christian Counsellors.

Having established the College in 1991 with the assistance of Rev Frank Ofosu-Appiah, Rev Olowo has served as Principal since its inception. In addition to church general oversight responsibilities at Jubilee International Church, he is also the President of Jubilee International Ministers Association (JIMA).

He has ministered in many denominations including Anglican, Baptist, United Reformed, Presbyterian, Salvation Army and Pentecostal. With a strong healing anointing, he has ministered the Gospel in many nations worldwide, such as the USA, France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Moldova, Israel, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, Ghana, The Gambia, Pakistan, India, Malaysia and The Philippines. He is married to Anna and they have two lovely daughters, Natasha and Sarah.

Vice Principal

Dr David Curtis

Rev Dr David Curtis, C&G Cert in FE Teaching 7407; B.A., Bristol University; M.Div., Methodist Theological Seminary, Ohio; D.Min., New York Theological Seminary, New York. Lecturer in Greek and Theology (Congregation Leader, New Wine Church)

Ordained in the UK as a Methodist minister in 1970, Dr Curtis spent 1971-82 in Zambia working in the United Church of Zambia (UCZ). He then became a tutor at UCZ theological college and later became the principal. He established Theological Education by Extension in Zambia (TEEZ) which now has 10,000 students a year, an interdenominational programme of training for non-ordained lay church leaders.

Upon returning to England in 1982, he continued Methodist ministry, completed his doctoral studies with New York Theological Seminary and then took up a hospital chaplaincy. He is now co-head of department in the senior chaplaincy at Wittington Hospital, Highgate.

In 1996, Dr Curtis planted New Wine Church, an Ichthus congregation. He serves on Roger Foster's Ministry Management Committee for Ichthus. He is involved in an inter-faith dialogue group seeking to build relationships with Moslems in north London. He once stood as candidate in local elections for Christian People's Alliance (CPA) under Ram Goodmal.

Dr Curtis has ministered in Bulgaria, Zambia and Nigeria. He has been married for over 40 years to Gillian, and they have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
