History

Pastor Femi Olowo and Pastor Anna Olowo founded Jubilee International Church in London on April 1992 with just 7 members. Today that church has become a growing multi-cultural congregation that worships in a modern church building in Grove Park, London. For many years we met in hired halls in the Clapham area of South West London, but in 2005, by the grace of God, we were able to purchase our own church building in South East London. The church building was originally built by the Shaftesbury Society and dedicated on 25 May 1935 by Pastor Frederick E Pinkess.

Having founded the current church ministry and spearheaded the worldwide network of Jubilee International Church, Dr Femi Olowo serves as the General Overseer of our global ministry.

From the one local church in London, we planted out several geographic and ethnic branch churches into other parts of the UK starting in the year 2000. This is because we are aware that our mandate includes evangelism through the means of church planting and releasing of local leaders and pastors for the purpose of a greater national and global harvest of souls.

At the same time, we worked with our overseas pastors who were also involved in church planting in their localities and within their own countries.

We now have about 10 Jubilee International Church branches in the UK and 30 overseas branches in some 14 nations worldwide. In some countries, we have orphanages, free primary schools in poor communities and mercy missions.

And as God continues to bless us, we will continue to be a blessing to the nations of the world.
